As has been in previous years, EEI Power Corporation once again took part in the Brigada Eskwela progam this year. On 29 May 2018, EEI Power donated construction materials which were used for repair and repainting works at the Col. Rosalio C. Saludares Elementary School in Barangay Magdum, Tagum City, Davao Del Norte. The school principal, Mrs. Amelita Sol M. Donayre expressed gratitude to the company’s continuing support to the Brigada Eskwela program.

On 21 May 2018, EEI Power Corporation once again donated fifteen (15) pieces of empty drums to the Bureau of Fire Protection which will be used for the various activities and programs of the fire stations in Tagum City.

On 12 December 2017, EEI Power Corporation received Grade 12 students of Assumpta School of Tagum for a tour of the company’s power plant in Tagum City. EEI Power’s plant management and personnel provided the students with relevant presentations during the said educational tour, which is a boost to the school’s program for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) strand.

On 18 May 2018, a representative from Barangay Magdum received the two (2) units of steel benches (4 seaters) donated by EEI Power Corporation for the new Barangay Health Station building. The steel benches were installed at the receiving area of the health station to accommodate local residents seeking medical attention.

On 01 August 2016, EEI Power Corporation donated a birthing bed for Brgy. Magdum’s Health Station. This is one of the company’s simple ways of showing concern for the well-being of its host community.
